How to show all file version on view tab

Well i know this is a simple question but how can i see all the file versions in view tab instead of only the revisions of the file? Would be great if this issue is just an option that i'm missing.

Is there any relation with the lifecycles? We don't *really* use the lifecycles because it isn't pratical to the company, the lifecycles do exist but they're "free to edit". See prints below.

Below is a screenshot of a non lifecycle based assembly

On the History Tab select a Version and right mouse click, choose View In Window. You can then view any version or Revision of that file, as long as it is not checked out. If the preview needs to be updated you will see a warning banner as in my image below. Updating the preview needs to be done from the View Tab.

Thanks, i've forgot to mencion the view from history feature, i do use this, but the feature i want is to view the versions in the same tab "view" in vault as the last screenshot i sent

There isn't a way to see all versions in the View tab.

Hi, i think there is a way, i just don't see the relationship between the file types, let's give two scenarios:

1 - I'm editing a copied design file, that in some how without setting is in the A revision, the view tab only shows the revisions in the selector button.

2 - I've checked-in a file that was created from my computer (not a vault created/copied one), in the view tab will be all the versions created in vault, above i've sent a screenshot where that is shown and below is another snap.

Figured out in a fiew hours, to have all the verions instead of revisions on file view tab, you need to change the vault revision definition to <none>, and them instantly the verions will show up in place, of course, this ignores the vault revision function, so just perform this action if you don't wanna use it.

If your plan is to use Vault Revision and Lifecycles, I do not recommend that you change the file's revision to NULL. It is going to mess up your Revision history, the ability to delete and purge the version with the NULL revision. As well as file relationships based on Revision.

Hi, thanks for the tip, but we don't acctually use this features, we have our own system based control method.

If that is the case, the file category should have the Null revision set as the default and no other Revisions possible.

I am also assuming you are not using Lifecycles, correct?

Correct, i've changed the category revision deafult too, forgot to tell this before, and yes, the lifecycles are in use, but only for default files locking, to prevent unawanted edits, so not a real file flux control and cycle is used.
