    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ironically we did too on a couple of machines. Hadn't see this for a couple of weeks. I was blaming upgrade to 2022 Vault Server, but that was about 2 months ago.&amp;nbsp; Those machines use Inventor / Vault daily and why today? Hmmmm&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Cannot login to vault 2022 after recent client update</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hello, today I installed a new update for the vault client 2022. But after startup i see a "privacy settings"&amp;nbsp; screen. but the loading is stuck. I think i need to hit&amp;nbsp; "Ok" the the privacy settings dialog, but the "Log in" dialog is preventing that. however, i cannot close the Login dialog. (clicking X doesnt do anything, everything else is grayed out.)&lt;BR /&gt;same happens if i launch vault client 2020.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRIKE&gt;I tried rebooting, that didnt work. I tried shutting down the ethernet connection, that had some effect&amp;nbsp; But still could not close the login dialog. Any other suggestions?&lt;/STRIKE&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit i found a work arround by starting inventor 2022 first, that one did let me allow to apply to terms and conditions..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="vlt.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1025815iA6BC1C6E1AC8BA00/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="vlt.png" alt="vlt.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just downloaded and installed Vault Pro 2022.2 from Autodesk accounts and installed it and I have a user who cannot login due to the Privacy window.&amp;nbsp; You can't even select OK on the privacy window.&amp;nbsp; User is not a CAD user so I can have him use the work around mentioned in this post.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We just upgraded to Vault Pro 2022 last November and the version I downloaded thankfully did not have any privacy statement window that popped up.&amp;nbsp; Only some remote users that I installed Vault directly from Autodesk Accounts recently are having this issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a fix to this bug???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate someone from Vault team to chime in to help.&amp;nbsp; I would appreciate it.&amp;nbsp; Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/205294"&gt;@ihayesjr&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;FYI...we are seeing same issue since we upgraded to VP2022. We are still using 2021 Thick Client and INV2021, as we slowly bring on 2022 Thick Client and eventually INV2022.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Solution is to start Inventor first and get logged into Vault.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then log into Thick Client.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once you get thru that Privacy Window, doesn't matter which you start first after that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HTH,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Steve H.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The Privacy dialog is a shared component for all Autodesk products. Any product could have reset the privacy agreement prompting it to show again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When it comes to Vault, the login dialog causes the user not to be able to accept the Privacy agreement. This should be addressed in a future Vault update.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>And up to then what? Should I suspend paying the subscription? Shut down the company? How can I work around it when I have no access to Inventor and DWG True View isn't asking about anything? Please be more considerate and provide some work around or stop sending requests to show privacy settings dialog to versions which do have this bug.</description>
