Can the Job Processor create .STEP or .PDF files locally without saving to Vault

We are using the Job Processor to create .STEP files as needed (manually) and saving them to a network location and this works great. However, the Job Processor also creates a STEP file in the Vault every time. I see no way to stop the file creation within the Vault.

Is there a way to stop this or alternatively, an easy way to remove those files as soon as they are created?

go to vault setting and disable the option

OR USE THE DEFINE BUTTON

Same applies for PDFs

@arkad_s Thank you for the above link confirming: "In current design state there is no possibility to create STEP files using Vault Job Processor without adding file to Vault." as of December 2024.

That's not completely true. The Autodesk Vault Enterprise Tools are able to do this.
