File Type drop-down to allow direct selection

Vault - Open file interface doesn't allow drop-down menu from selecting file type. When you navigate to open an existing document from within Inventor (open local), the default interface allows you to click on the File Type drop-down menu to select a specific file extension. When you try opening from Vault, the File Type bar does not have drop-down selection available. You have to click ALL the way to the right of the bar and access the drop-down marker to view file types.

Please note the cursor that is present in the first screenshot below (Open Vault interface from within Inventor). It should allow direct selection as per second image (Open interface from within Inventor).

The dialog does have a drop-down menu. Can you give step by step of your workflow?

The Vault-Open file type drop down is available, but requires that you click the drop down button on the right of the bar instead of allowing the user to click on the bar itself (this function however is available in the Inventor-Open interface). Clicking on the Vault-Open file type drop down simply selects the text and does not open the file type listings.

Workflow:

Open Vault.

Open Inventor.

Inside Inventor, open file (this interface allows the user to access the file type drop down menu by clicking on the file type/file type bar directly).

Click 'browse to Vault...' button available to Open from Vault (this interface DOES NOT allow the user to access the file type drop down menu by clicking on the file type/file type bar directly, but instead requires the user to click on the drop down arrow at the end of the file type bar on the right side).

As before, the file type menu is available in the Open from Vault interface - HOWEVER accessing it is limited and clumsy, and functions differently than the Open from Inventor interface.
