Remove tenant admin. secondary roles

I am the tenant admin. for my organization. I am also the creator of most of the projects within Upchain.

I’ve attempted to remove secondary roles from my own profile and from the user administration page, but receive the following errors:

From project settings: “You cannot remove yourself from team members”.
From my profile: ”Primary or project assigned role cannot be removed”.
From the user administration page: “Not allowed to remove the secondary role since the user is using it on a project”.

Hi jbeardTXNA8, apologies for the delay in responding. Upchain Project creators cannot be removed from their own project. Therefore, it is best to ensure the person that needs to remain on the project is the one who creates the project. Once a user is added to a project team with a specific role, you cannot remove that role from the user. This is to prevent errors with workflows calling out to a specific role and the user suddenly not having that role anymore. You would need to remove the user from any projects under that role before you can remove the role from the user. Hope this helps to clear up some confusion.
