Can Fusion Manage do better? A flat BOM is an essential output for tools like this. If not, this certainly belongs in the "Upchain Ideas" area to gather some votes.

is it possible to generate a custom BOM report in a flat structure? for example I have used the same bolt in several assemblies, now I want to now how many of these bolts are in the whole machine. like a flat bom structure.

if this can be done with Jaspersoft please provide an example

regards

Hi evandergoot, thank you for your question. I've asked a few people and they've said Jaspersoft is quite tricky to work with and probably not worth your time to figure out how to make it work for this request. Instead, I'd suggest exporting the BOM to Excel and using the tools within Excel to calculate the sums you need. You can either export from the web app or use the Excel plugin. Hope that helps.

Fusion Manage handles flat BOM, but you will have to integrate Upchain and Fusion Manage.

Is that difficult? I've used older versions. With the removal of the Upchain product name, I assumed integration would be a standard thing for FuMa (FuMan?) implementations.

Autodesk moved the autodesk Fusion 360 Manage with Upchain offering to Fusion Manage. Same offering, just a different name.

I haven’t integrated Upchain and fusion manage myself, but it shouldn’t be a big deal.
I got colleagues who can help.
