topic Existing items in an assembly in Upchain Forum

When I upload or construct an article and load it into my project in Upchain, this article is created normally in the BOM. I do the same with other articles.
Now I want to combine them into an assembly and check out all the articles I want to have in it and open Siemens NX and the CAD Connector. I then create an assembly in NX and add the articles via the temporarily created order and assemble the assembly.
If I now want to add this assembly in Upchain, the individual articles are displayed twice, but I only want to see them in the assembly.
In other words, I have my assembly with the articles and all the articles individually underneath. How can I avoid this?

Does anyone know a more elegant way?

Hi benito_vogel, I'm not sure I fully understand your question. Perhaps you could add a few images to show what you have and what you'd like to achieve. Generally, if you want all items in a BOM structure to contain a CAD file, it is best to create items for the entire assembly at the same time from the CAD plugin. This way, the BOM is constructed to match the assembly structure in your CAD system. This course in Upchain Academy demonstrates how to register an assembly.
