Are there multiple phases in your model? From the BIM 360 Tab, after you select your model, check to make sure that the correct phase has been selected from the drop-down.

What can happen on import when the user doesn’t select a phase, Tandem selects the most recent phase it thinks is correct.

I created a new facility and brought in a test model from BIM360. The test model has some architectural, mechanical, and electrical components. Everything is in one model (no linked models). There are a lot of components that do not show up in Tandem (Roofs, Ceilings, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, etc.). Are there factors that determine what comes through to Tandem?

The model only has the default "existing" and "new construction" phases. Everything is on the "new construction" phase and that is the phase I selected when importing.

@seth.wilsonJYZT2 , I know it's taken some time for us to respond, but after consulting with a number of product teams we've discovered a few things. It may first help to know that this issue manifests in Docs and is exacerbated in Design Collaboration before it actually get's into Autodesk Tandem. However, the issues persists in Tandem as well.

The root issue is caused by the current active view template in 3D view. During the generation of the master 3D view, we make an API call that pulls the active view template, not the default template. So, if the active template filters out elements that's how it will get published to Docs, Design Collaboration and Tandem.

As a workaround you can set the active view template to "None" before publishing and that should resolve the issue.

Thanks Adam, I'm still not sure what I need to do in the Revit model/publish settings to make everything come through into Tandem. Can you step me through it?
Thanks
Seth Wilson
