Model disappearing when zooming in

Has anyone else experienced an issue with zooming in for certain models? Hopefully you can see the attached video, where I have selected a single model within the facility, but as soon as I zoom in with the mouse the model disappears, and unable to get it back into focus.

If I select other models within this facility, I can zoom and navigate around without any issues

I'm looking into this more. Can you confirm that all the models you have uploaded are revit? There are two that are cut-off in the video.

The instances in which I've encountered a model disappearing in the viewer are usually related to the cut-off planes. There is a limitation in the viewer concerning the distance of an object. In other words, if something is drawn too far from the main model, it can alter the cut-off plane and begin to stop displaying 3D information. Navisworks has a similar issue: Link to article

Whenever I've faced this issue, I've opened the model in question in the authoring tool to check for any odd geometry modeled far from the main model. I would then delete it, re-upload, and this typically resolves the problem. I've encountered this issue more frequently with fab models or dwg fab models.

I'm not sure if this is the issue you're facing, but I would recommend starting there.

Hi Iria - Thanks for this, I don't believe there are any objects too far away from the main model after checking again. I am still investigating other ideas based on some online forums responses

Done some further investigation into this, and turns out it was the sub-category "Centre Lines" within category MEP Fabrication Pipework which was causing this issues. I have a support call open to initially look at why it doesn't show anything in the 3D view on ACC Docs when this sub-category is turned on

So when filtering out the Centre Lines from the viewer the zoom works as expected?

I'm actually having to hide these in Revit before uploading to Docs then Tandem, as it is a subcategory which is causing the error by the looks of it.

But yes once I turn off this subcategory in Revit and upload, the viewing within Tandem works as expected
