Due to cloud only nature of Tandem, we have a client IT department requesting more information regarding the Tandem SaaS, and Autodesk Client Services has directed me to create a post here:

1. Our client's IT department would like to review a penetration test summary for recent test performed by Autodesk for the Tandem cloud software. Can you please provide for us to submit to our client?

2. When we create facilities, the data residency listed is USA. What other data residency locations are possible for a facility and client that want their files stored in a location closer to Macau, China?

3. Is Tandem a multitenant SaaS solution?

4. What kind of security protections are implemented for Autodesk Tandem? (e.g. AitiDDos, Web application firewall, etc.)

Penetration testing at times may involve areas of code which Autodesk has identified as sensitive and proprietary. Sharing details of these results would violate our Data Classification Policies.

3. Is Tandem a multitenant SaaS solution?

Autodesk Cloud services are multi-tenant SaaS services that Autodesk manages on behalf of customers using a variety of modern web technologies . Autodesk Cloud Services are hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) in accounts that Autodesk owns and manages.

4. What kind of security protections are implemented for Autodesk Tandem? (e.g. AitiDDos, Web application firewall, etc.)

Autodesk Cloud Services are hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Autodesk leverages AWS services to help mitigate impact from DDOS attacks as described in the AWS article https://aws.amazon.com/answers/networking/aws-ddos-attack-mitigation/.

Autodesk maintains network configuration documentation for infrastructure deployed that supports Autodesk Platform Services. Autodesk leverages frameworks from Amazon to search for attacks presented in this risk.

AWS provides boundary protections at the network level.
