To clarify, the Reset Application Settings button on the Options | Preferences form (General tab) is the preferred way of reset all of the application settings. This will safely reset the registry items used and settings stored elsewhere relating to the function of the software (e.g. unit preferences, form positions, history lists, etc.). Click this button and restart application.

Thanks

Hi Paul,

I have had this before and previously I had to delete the "Session" key for ASBD in the registry, which I believe holds all the information on window positions, toolbars etc. This then gets regenerated again when the application is restarted

I don't usually delete the key, but just rename it by adding any character to the end (just in case I need to reestablish it). You have to be careful when editing the registry so it may be worth backing up the registry befor making any changes.

Before trying this, you can also try resetting the system settings from the options/preferences menu. This was added to the software some time ago but I'm not sure if it resets the session.

Let me know how you got on and if this has solved your problem then please mark my reply as a solution so that others may benefit.

Kind regards

Dave Geeves
