Extract Envelope Values with API

Hello,

I have tried without noticeable success to write some code that could give me MAX and MIN bar forces values in several sections (for example spaced by 20cm) for a group of load cases or for a group of normal combinations (not code combinations) and write them down in Excel. In my model I have some vehicle type load cases so the code should work for them to.

Is it possible for you to provide me some code example on how to do this?

One good feature would be to detect the current bar selection on Robot View and extract those bars numbers and forces in several sections. Is it possible to do this?

One remark: ValueEx works also for moving load cases so small modification in code to allow one to read such results

Dear members,

I would like to know if someone can share a excel sheet (VBA) to extracte the internal forces from all the bars of my structure. I just need the maximum internal force in the bar, not the values at the bottom or top of the bar (extremes nodes of the bar).

The internal forces that i need are: N, My,Mz;Vy;Vz (i dont need torsion).

I also want to have the possibility to choose all (or just one) the loads cases that i previously had defined in my structural model.

Yes, I have found many excel sheets, but none of them had all the the internal forces that i need (N,My,Mz;Vy;Vz) and also i don't know if there are new updated excel sheets (possible minor bugs corrected).

I have found a excel sheet that almost does what i want, the only problem is that some internal forces are missing, in this case i need N,My,Mz;Vy,Vz.

If you want to use Excel - use Excel VBA.
