Meshing Issues in Robot

I have checked the coordinates of panels in robot and they are matching exactly yet i am getting incoherent meshing in edges. Is there any option in robot to automatically merge nodes of panels. Also while running robot, the model shows isolated nodes everytime even though i delete them.

Model is not defined preciselly. As an example please see connection between objects

152 178 415 516 626 627 647 648

Panels should have common edges and common corners.

Also beams are not defined along panels edges

Example for objects 132 (panel) and 619 620 (beams)

You can try to correct model by

Detailed correction before meshing
Meshing model step by step by selecting group of panels (as an example by thickness) and meshing selected panels with Analysis >Meshing >Local mesh generation
Increaseing model generation tolerance in Analysis >Analysis types >Structure model (before calculation)

Refer to corrected model meshed in version 2025.

Hi, thanks for the solution. I want to know that is there any quick method to correct this modelling issue of Beams and Panel connection. One solution i know of extending the beams and finding the intersection points using beam elements on panel surface. But is there any other quick method?

Your solution should work but you can also try to use detailed correction of beam endnodes to panel planes

Thanks for the solution. That was very helpful and saved my time. Can you also send a video solution for finding the intersection nodes of planes. Bcz i model structures that have arbitary planes, therefore sometimes the intersection points vary by decimals.

There is no speciall tool for planes intersection , but you can use Edit >Cut by plane option to find intersection points of panels.

Open Results >Forces then select required load cases and member.

Program shows results in member/beam endnodes (by default)
