Hello everyone,
I have some problem concerning AutoCAD 3D drawing. I would like to move construction made in AutoCAD 3D to Robot but in some way it is impossible. I save .dwg file as .dxf file and then open it in Robot, but instead of construction there appear some bars in various places. So my question is, how should I import 3D drawing to Robot?

Part of construction in .dwg file http://www.sendspace.com/file/htukth

To clarify: 3d solids can be imported to robot after saving them as sat file and activating ACIS in robot. But in such case every side of such object will be imported as panel. So for design purposes it will be useless.

So , import as bars then create bars in corect positions basing on imported ones or create bar model from scratch in Robot.

To import 3D model you should create such model either in ASD Steel or in Revit

- acad: file \ export \ wybrac *.sat, wybrac elementy, zapisac

- robot : wlaczyc typ struktury powloka, ustawic poprawne jednostki, uaktywnic ACISa http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Robot-Structural/Autocad-dwg-files-import/m-p/3181550/highlight/true#M886 , wczytac plik sat
