Member list is incorrect

Morning,

I am having the issue when performing steel design of structural piles.

When i try to calculate, there is an error ``Member list is incorrect``.

I am also unable to include any members, but the structure does analyse.

Any suggestions how to correct the error?

I too have had a similar problem. I had changed a concrete pillar with a steel.

Check the following settings.

Also try resetting the design parameters of the regulations

Thanks, i have tried what you suggested by i still seem to have a problem with the model.

Will keep at it.

I am unable to select any members to verify.

Either wrong material (not steel) in assinged to members or steel member types are not assigned to bars.

If it is not the case please send us model.

Thanks Rafal,

I have corrected the error.
Since I exported the nodes and members from SAP2000 into Excel and then into Robot, the elements were not specified as a simple bar, column etc.
Once I specified the appropriate member type I was able to calculate in steel design.
