Hi Guys - would really appreciate any help you could give me on the following problem. I am modelling the end section of a surge vessel and have added stiffeners on the end plate to reflect what is currently built. When I mesh the structure the outer shell mesh won't align with the plate mesh on the stiffeners. I have meshed using an iterative adjustment but still this problem does not resolve. The outer cyclinder was created by extruding a circle and the current mesh layout seems to match the number of divisions that was applied when that wsa extruded - maybe that can be adjusted to fix this? Would really appreciate if you could show/tell me how best to resolve this.

JTL

Thank you Rafal.

How do you make this modification once the extrusion has already been made? Did you re-create it?

Thanks

JL
