      <title>(API) Storey Stability Index Calculation</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The calculation of the storey stability index Q is based on clause 10.14.4 of the National Standard of Canada CSA A23.3:19 “Design of concrete structures”. I hope this small macro will help Canadian Robot users.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;General Usage Instructions&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Modify the moment of inertia for all structural members. It is recommended to use the &lt;A href="https://apps.autodesk.com/RSA/en/Detail/Index?id=5780839760675387651&amp;amp;appLang=en&amp;amp;os=Win64" target="_blank"&gt;IModifier&lt;/A&gt; to speed up the process.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure that storeys are defined in the model.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Input manual load combination number in cell B2. It is assumed that the load combination contains lateral forces.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Run analysis.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Press the Get Results button.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;Assumptions&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For each storey Robot returns results in global X and Y directions. These results are reported in columns Vfx, Vfy, Δox, Δoy. However, for Q calculation the program uses the Square Root of the Sum of the Squares procedure to determine Vf and Δo.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
