Hello,

I'm interested in develop a software that calculates steel structures using Visual Basic, changing parameters like sections.. etc.

Before installing VB and after read de API Tutorial for Robot I have questions.

1-Is posible to compute steel frames with semirrigid joints? also...

2-The control of Robot from VB let us check the steel structure and joints? or only calcules the structure (bending moments,. axial forces, displacements...)

3-Is there a better version of VB 2012, 2013....?

by API - as nonlinear releases.

Thanks for the answer. I'm thinking in study VB to control RSA.. and before this effort I need to be sure that the combination VB.net+RSA may do what I need.

1.-Is possible with VB-net+RSA develop a VB program that in the same loop (like a loop for__ to or while _end), calculates and checks the structure changing in the RSA model variables like the cross-section of a profile? and send to VB the results of stress ckecks in order to decide new changes and new structures improved after this previous results.

2.- Is posible to control from VB (in the same loop) different joints. It means.. the same tipology of joint with different configurations: first 8 bolts M20, after 6 M24,... etc.. and get from RSA in VB information like Sj, checks... etc?

3.- The con.zip file (previosly sended) has and exe file that can't be executed "a file is missing or invalid". Is possible get the code of this program, please?
