Thanks for that.

I have added some vertical bracing members on the model to provide lateral stability. The beam/column and beam/beam connections will be simple, so I am adding releases to bars that have negative moments bigger than say 35kN (I don't want to add releases everywhere so I don't get instability). Is this the way to go about this? I have released the bracing members as well, but I am not sure how I can make them tension only. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you once again,

Hi all,

I'm trying to generate the wind loads using the automatic wind load generator, and Robot crashes a few seconds after it starts meshing. Is this anything any of you came across before?

Thank you in advance,

Accuracy of your model should be corrected.

- all claddings must be flat (example of not flat ones marked in green below)

- objects should be precisely connected - marked in red

- meshed slab panel contour should be corrected ; remove unneceserry corner- marked in red

Thank you Rafal, much appreciated.

And another think, I have used cladding panels between the beams on all floors and applied surface loads (instead of line loads for the floors/occupancy loads on beams) as this saves time. Is the a way to check if the panels (which are one way spanning by the way) transfer the load to the corresponding beams?

Thanks once more,

Thanks Rafal!

I successfully turned the bracing elements into truss/tension members. Obviously by default this leads to non-linear analysis, but do I need to create the Combinations again? It seems that they're gone and the cases are not visible in the case tab in combinations.

Yes you have to create combinations
You can use last option on Automatic Combination window :
"Manual combinations - generate"
