Let us try to be more concise.

So, we have calculation model with many bars with thin walled cross section (made by RSAP tool) and we are interseting in following:

Is there any way to obtain max/min stress in group of bars, group of points along bar, for group of load combinations?

Where we can find formula for thin walled SHEAR stress RSAP use for diagrams in "Stress Analysis - bars" module for thin walled cross sections?

Ad.1 - now we must export to EXCEL section forces far ALL bars, ALL load cobinations and ALL points of interest along bars - after that we MANUALLY make normal stress calculations using data from RSAP "Section definition" modul to find bar number, load case and point along bar for max/min stress - after that we EASY can reach all values in RSAP "Stress Anlysis - bars" modul (so, we can not automatic find bar/point/load for max/min values because such postprocessing is not avaliable - even ALL data we use for our "tip&trick" already are in RSAP model database)

Ad.2 - same "tip&trick" as in "Ad.1" but for shear stress is not useful because it seem that our formula for shear stress is not the same like RSAP one - and we could not find RSAP formula for thin walled cross section shear stress in HELP system.

Sincerely,

User
