Hello,

I have a problem with projecting my tank. I've attached hydrostatic load but I think the chart of hydrostatic pressure isn't correct.

hydrostatic pressure

On the top of my chart should be value 0, but I see that there is something value bigger than 0. Where can I make a mistake?

Geometry of my tank I've imported from Acad. I think that begining of my chart may be in wrong place. I tried to change this in Acad (after saving Acad file).

I also tried to copy my tank to new clear file and to change point of insert. But there's no effect.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for help.

But now I have a new problem.

After veryfication of my construction program show's me some warning's.

Now I'm trying to eliminate one warning about loads. Robot told me that loads applied to cladding panels won't be considered on calculations. I have no idea where I'm doing a mistke.

ARSA file is over 5mb so I'd uploaded im to:

http://megawrzuta.pl/download/6d71b0ce998381ee4dea5024f2f22b74.html

1. Mesh it properly

2. No kinematic links

3. Correct geometry

4. Assign cladding attributes to claddings

5. Remove overlapping claddings

6. Corrected file attached - one warning remains but loads are correctly distributed in case 3

Thanks a lot 🙂 But now I'm having some questions:
Re 1. If mesh is properly (doesn't extend, regular square, regular triangle) should I refine mesh in corners and accumulation tension points?
Re 2. Does Kinematic links appears when geometry is incorect and when mesh isn't properly?
Re 4. You mean that panel calculation model should be exacly as in attachment (panel_model)?
6. Now I see one problem with beams (results-> deflection). Deflection is too big. I've tried to refine mesh on panels close to beam_388 (max deflection) and to change walls for more thick, but results are exacly the same.

Thanks for reply

Re 1. If mesh is properly (doesn't extend, regular square, regular triangle) should I refine mesh in corners and accumulation tension points?

Your choice

Re 2. Does Kinematic links appears when geometry is incorect and when mesh isn't properly?

And when it is activated to do so in Job Preerences

Re 4. You mean that panel calculation model should be exacly as in attachment (panel_model)?

No , I mean that the claddings have no applied cladding property such as Two -way, One-way

Thanks.
One quick question. Is there a posibility in Robot to make diagram of longitudinal moments only for walls?
I've tried to make that chart by option: panel cut, but always apart of diagram for walls, there is also diagram for ground plate.

Thanks for reply.

Hello again.
I'm wondering about coefficient kz in Robot calculator "Building soils- calcularoins of K coefficient". In some literature I've found a forumla that describe ratio kz as

kz=(Fz/A)/delta z

So I thik that Robot calculate settlements in that calculator (we need to implement foundation load and dimensions of foundation) . But that calcularor doesn't consider ground water level. So settlemens without ground water level may have another value that settlements with involving ground water level. Is there a option in that calculator that would consider ground water level?

Thanks fo reply 🙂
