You need to define pinned connections among bars and "disregard" stiffness of the slab.

As by default all connections among bar elements are assumed as rigid you need to assign pinned-pinned releases to the beams that are not intended to transfer bending moments at their connections with columns.

You may define it as a cladding (surface intended for load distribution only).

In case you want to include slab as a structural part of the model you need to mesh it. To have a similar behaviour as for the cladding you need make it to work in one direction only.

I can view the shear force and make a forumla 2V/L to get the distributed load but it there a direct way to do that?
