      <title>Dynamic degrees of freedom equals 0</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It must be trivial, but I cannot find what's wrong in the model.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The purpose is to perform modal analysis of a SDOF system with concentrated load at the top of 500 kN.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The self-weight shall be ignored. In Modal analysis case the SW is disregarded, and only load case 1 is converted to mass.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems that it cannot accept the concentrated load and convert it to mass.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Though, it works for selfweight only if I uncheck 'Disregard density'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The file is attached below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/213886iEA62B8A4188AEF0E/image-size/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;amp;px=-1" alt="pic.png" title="pic.png" align="left" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
