Slab reinforcement - Lost

Hi Support,

I need a quick help.

I run the analysis of the slab. I've applied all the reinforcement and I was happy with everything but I needed to apply an extra load.

So I froze the reinforcement, then went to loads an applied the extra loads.

Run the analysis and unfortunately my reinforcement disappeared.

I thought that freezing the reinforcement will leave it and I will be able to add additional bars required in area or redefine reinforcement locally, but now I need to redo everything.

Could you please explain why that happened and how this can be solved if possible.

You need to update the slab with new set of results first (mind that you can only add or change loads within the load cases you originally imported) and then you can check if you need the additional reinforcement:

In case it is too small you should unfreeze it and then define new or modify reinforcement in the already existing zones.

Yes it was

Two additional questions.

1. So if I will add another loadcase then the reinforcement will reset?

2. When I applied all the reinforcement the reinforcement was not displayed in the Slab reinforcement view. Do you have any idea what might cause that?

In a sense. As it will not be included in the update you would have to design the slab from the start again.

Try to generate it by pressing the indicated button
