Hi,

I'm designing a structure which requires cross bracing. The structure seemed to be verified at every stage until I introduced cross bracing. When I analyse the structure I have been getting the various warnings and errors:

No convergence of nonlinear problem.

Matrix is not positive definite - the critical load may have been exceeded

Instability at nodes

I have looked through previous threads and solved problems and found that I should be analysis in a 'Non-Linear' way once bracing is introduced but still can't shift the warnings.

Would it be possible to have a look at my model and help me with bracing members (tension bars)?

Kind Regards,

Sabir

Please see model attached.
