AS to import forces from a node for verification of a connection requires that their analytical lines intersect. In the attached test file made basing on your AS model the yellow beam analytical line intersects with the analytical line of the main beam whereas the magenta's one doesn't as in your connection.

I am analyzing a structure in Robot and when i finished I imported it back into Advance Steel to design the connections. I see the forces when i click on the flags at each joint in advance steel, but when i go to joint design in advanced properties the forces do not show up when i click use load cases and then the forces button. How can i get them their so i can finish designing the connection. I am attaching the file with one connection. Thank you

I can't see any issue. Make sure that the selected design code is supported for given connection type.

I see that their is not issue with base plates on the columns, but I am trying to design a shear plate that connects a W18x35 and an MC12x31. I click on the use load cases then forces and it opens a screen with no forces on it. I have attached a picture showing it. Thank you
