      <title>Slab Spanning Direction Issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm having an issue with defining the slab span direction in my building model.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have composite floors and metal deck roofs that I wish to span in the X-direction. However, they currently span in the Y-direction, despite having specified that the panels are to span in the X direction.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On the attached model you can see that under gk_upper roof that not distributing any load to the beams running the Y-axis.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Eoin,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You need to change the local panel orientation to match the global X asix orientation,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To do this, I had to change your structure type to shell design - then select your roof panel and go to geometry - properties local panel direction and change to global X vector&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;(see load distribution of roof panel below)&lt;/P&gt;
