Robot 2018 high resolution problems

I have installed Robot 2018 and I have few problems while running it on high screen resolution (3840x2160). It is very slow in model view, rotating, zooming, results.... I tried turning Hardware acceleration off and it did help a bit, but still very slow.

In addition, I can't select or change display settings, as shown on the image.

I haven't used old versions on this screen resolution so I can't say if this is only 2018 problem or it happened in older versions also.

So it means I have to lower my screen resolution every time I work in Robot?

I wouldn't mind it's so slow, but is there any way to properly see all the display options?

For example, I can't select panel thickness or mark by colours...

Tried it, still no effect. Can't select or change anything in Display settings.

Another thing I noticed, when I set Display acceleration to full in preferences, 3D view runs smoothly, but when I try isolating object in "Edit in new window" I becomes so slow it's merely impossible to work.

Just to mention, model is a simple 3 story building, total size 1.200kB, with no mesh generated, running from a SSD on an i7 with 16GB memory...

You may try to check for the latest graphic card driver and delete Windows temporary files (%temp% folder).

Driver version is from 1 May 2017.

I tried deleting temp folder with no effect.

* UPDATE *

I did, however, install older version of graphic card drivers and so far it works smooth, both in default 3d view and isolated views.

Still can't see display settings, nor can modify them.

Oh, it worked, so simple ! 😄

After yesterdays smooth run today I get the same problems again, slowing down when isolating objects in separate views...

Could you check if by any chance the driver updated automatically in the background?

Is it a laptop or a desktop?

Does it have one or two graphic cards and what exactly they are? What are its (their )driver(s)?

Is it possible that for a laptop is starts to work in some safe energy mode?

It's a desktop computer, Lenovo Rethink P310, with one graphic card, Nvidia Quadro K620, drivers dated on 01.08.2016. (checked as I type)

After consulting with our technical support for Robot we came to the solution. At least for now..

In nVidia Control Panel, under Manage 3D Settings/Program Settings add Robot and customize settings. My current settings on which Robot runs smoothly are shown on the image below.

The issuses with scaling on high resolution moniter has been corrected in Robot Structural Analysis 2020.1 Update
