Hello,

I am wondering if it is possible to recreate an animation of the vibration modes of a structure or if there is a special plug-in to do so.

Hi @Anonymous

Check the mode you need to have animation for it then go to diagrams then deformation click on deformation and then apply

Then from animation specify how many frame and how many frame in second Then click start

it will appear for you new window you can start their to see the animation and to save it .

Of course. Just select the modal case , one of the modes of vibration , then Results/ diagram for bars or /Maps... if you have a shell model , then on deformation tab choose to show animation

You can run a Modal analysis and have an animation for each mode plus CQC, SRSS.

Mustafa, Robot has gone in the hole since Autodesk bought it...

It's about money unfortunately.

So many errors in RSA 2018 that sometimes I'm afraid of using it and have to triple check 🙂
