How and when we need to use Dilatation Load?

Hi,

Sorry to ask just now encounter this term, I have used other software but I did not found this type of loadings maybe It just a different terms.

Well, please anyone kindly please help me to explain how and when I need going to use this type of loading in bar?

Hi @Iron.Max.Steel

This option to specify the exact elongation or shortening in bar and to get the exact axial force will cause this dilatation.

In another words >

Lets say you have a bar and you apply on it 100 KN as axial compression force as a result you get axial deformation in the bar 1mm. If you want to know what the force will cause 5 mm in this bar apply dilatation 5mm on this bar and from bar diagram you will know what force cause that .
