Accidentally subdivided all the beams in my model

I accidentally subdivided all the beams in my model. I selected all the elements, and then I applied Edit - Intersect, but I forgot that I had the shells already meshed. I learned my lesson, and I will be more careful next time, but is there any quick way to merge my beams back to their initial configuration? I should mention that I cannot go back using "undo", because I will loose a lot of work that way.

Have you tried the undo command ? Another solution is to quit without saving.

Unfortunately "undo" is not feasible because I made the mistake some days ago, not sure exactly when, and I don't want to loose my work.
