Hi,

I need wind simulation for a steel framed building and there is a continuous wall behind the it and building fully covered with cladding. The main issue is the back of the building is getting the same wind loading even there is a wall behind it. The wall should prevent some of the wind loading because it nearly fully covers some parts of the cladding at the back side of the building. (Especially the lower levels near the ground floor should have smaller wind loading for X+ direction)

Why is wind simulation ignoring the objects and did not calculate the obstacles in front of or behind the objects like walls or claddings?

Should I fully ignore the wall and only select the claddings and perform wind simulation again?

Is there a way to consider objects within same line of sight while using RSA's wind simulation tool?

Thank you for your input.

Regards
