Hi @Anonymous

Actually it is what I meant. As the model contains bars and surface rather than solids you cannot have 'real' reinforcement bars in them as they don't have real shapes in the first place either. To include them at the static analysis stage means to change their moments of inertia or/and cross sectional areas (or E value).

Hi,

I have a model on which I performed first modal and then spectral analysis. Following to that I calculated the required reinforcement for RC members but I would like to see the differences in the analysis with the reinforcement included in the members.

Is it possible to do it just re-performing the analysis?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi @Anonymous

There is no option to automatically update element stiffness based on calculated reinforcement and cracks in Robot.

Hi @Artur.Kosakowski and thanks for your prompt reply.

I am sorry if I did not explain the issue correctly.

What I would like to do is not exactly automatically update the model stiffness but just performing the analysis including the calculated reinforcement. So I am afraid that if I repeat the model calculation (modal, spectral etc) after setting the reinforcement, this is not taken into account in the analysis, or is it?

Many thanks.
