New Zealand Wind Loads

Hi People,

I am learning RSA and one of the challenges I face is there is no database for AS/NZS 1170.2 wind loads. This kind of makes the code based features of RSA useless to me as I need to manually enter wind loads on my structure.

Does anybody know if an AS/NZS wind loads database exists and if it can be loaded in RSA?

Hi @Anonymous,

Currently, Robot does NOT support wind loads to AS/NZS 1070.2 code. See link below;

Saying that, you might be able to use Wind Simulation feature within robot to help you in the preliminary design of your structure. I found the Wind Simulation tool very handy and quick to use.
