On section definition , for some years now ,when Iz is greater than Iy , Robot prompts for you to choose if you want to keep Iy on its default position ( horizontal for beams) But not always!!! I have 2 very similar where IZ is much larger than Iy and it prompts me only on one of the sections. Is there a way to make it prompt on all sections where this happens?

Sometimes Robot is too accurate 🙂

I am afraid it might be even not possible to get exact 90deg as You have very thin parts together with thick in section.

yes , it is possible to have perfect results with the exact same type of section .

And this section below has thinner plates than the one that has problems!!!

Anyway ,why is it allowed to rotate the section when angle is 90 and not allowed when it is 89,999999 degrees?

Section with perfect results attached

But why this axes rotation restriction ? 89,9999 degrees doesn´t change the fact that Iy will still be less than Iz
