(API) : create material

Hi All,

When I creat a new concrete material, it exist well and I can assign it to a bar section/panel thickness.

I've assigned the type type: MatData.Type = IRobotMaterialType.I_MT_CONCRETE

But I can not see it in the list of crete material in "preference"?

Somethings missing?

Hi @hvdsidf

I create material name "Test_C30/37".

It is not add to the reference, you can add it from the Material in Robot to reference (Screen shot below)

I have no problem for the creating of a nea material, and I can assign it to a section/thickness with no problem.

But my question is how to show it in the list of material in "preference"?

You may not understand me,

you can add material new in the list in "Preferrence".

step 1

save new material in "Preference"

step 2

it is show in the list of material in "Preference"

I am afraid it is not possible to save to database (this is what You see in job preferences) created material by API.

Thanks you for the comments but I still do not understand what you mean.

I created new material by API (shot image below). it is not add new material in list material in the "Preferences" so I add it from Robot and it save in database (I tried turning it off and on again Robot).

There may be some code will add new material in the "Preferences" but I do not it yet, you can help us?

My understanding of your question is : you want to load material from database \ job preferences.
