    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to use RSA for RC design according to the seismic requirements of ACI-318. However, I'm finding several problems with the resulting designs (this applies to either code 08 or 11... 14 not yet implemented in Robot as of version 2021).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is it me doing something wrong or is the procedure in RSA in need of corrective actions from the development team?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Problem 5/6&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When designing beams in intermediate (medium risk/ category C) moment frames , ACI-318 requires the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Capture.PNG" style="width: 331px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/854831i515BCD921BED424A/image-dimensions/331x224?v=v2" width="331" height="224" role="button" title="Capture.PNG" alt="Capture.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note that Phi*Vn should cover the greatest between the shear envelope from load combinations and the shear resulting from the above article, which in turn should be the least between (a) and (b).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, RSA does &lt;U&gt;not meets nor takes into account condition 21.3.3.1(b)&lt;/U&gt; of ACI-318... or does it? how?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
