Hi,

I'm designing a bunch of small steel structures and was wondering if there is a way to optimize my workflow.

So what I typically do I present internal forces for all structure, and then I go to design.

The issue is, I always do a printscreen of specified internal force (say Fx) and then do a printscreen of Fy, and so on.

Is there a way to automatically generate output for all (Fx, Fy, Fz,..) on seperate diagrams (based on specific viewpoint if possible) that i could import into my reports?

Below my typical report output:

hi,

I would search in the forum for "screen capture API". i think you will find what you need.

you could start with this https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/robot-structural-analysis-forum/api-command-vba-projection-capture-of-a-view/m-p/3188566

Regards

Have you tried Screen Capture feature in the program?

You can capture view updated on printing. Then you can save selected views as a template in Printout Composition and reuse it in other project.

Probably screenshots will require some manual updates for viewpoint, case list and diagram scale.

But you can do Edit from the printout preview.
