When calculating RC Components only (no building model just looking at beams, columns,etc. individually)

US/ ACI 318 code

1. How do we or can we do custom load combinations?

2. How do we view what load combinations are being checked?

3. How is long term deflection calculated for concrete beams?

4. For concrete beams is there a more detailed calculation note option that shows the full calculations for Phi-Mn, Phi-Vn, Phi-Tn, etc?

Additional questions for Concrete Beams, is live,snow, etc load patterning automatically considered for beams with multiple spans?

with reference to ACI 318 code:

1. What load combinations are being used for concrete beams? Is there somewhere within Robot to see this information?

2. Is transient load patterning considered for continuous beams?

3. Can we do custom load combinations and if so how?

4. How can we view shear/moment results per combination?

5. How is long term deflection being calculated for beams?

bump again...can anyone shed some light on what Robot is doing the manual provides no information.

another question:

- What governs when surface reinforcement is added?

- Is surface reinforcement used for strength?

again the online manual has no information relative to surface reinforcement and there are no dialog options which appear to apply to surface reinforcement.
