Maximum slab reinforcement area calculated in your project does not exceed 8 cm2/m. It does not seem to be unrealistic.

Hello, I have a problem with deflections when i run required areas of reinforcement in robot, I have attached both the model and and pic, the default deflections in the settings is 30mm, but i can see my model has up to 63mm deflections, how can I correct this. and thanks in advance for your answers

you saved my day, thanks a bunch, one more thing let me ask, kindly let me know how to adjust settings for rc slab design so that i dont end up with a very dense steel reinforcement in the slabs, I have tried many options but i still end up with lots of steel which seems to be unrealistic, it worries me a lot, thanks in advance

Being that it doesn't exceed 8cm2/m, and it seems unrealistic, how can I
solve this please, what should I modify in the model

8 cm2/m it is fi 10 bar every 10 cm. It does not seem big.

Check if you have not defined self-weight twice. Robot takes it into account automatically in first load case without any additional load definition.

I only have one self weight, also what do you mean by the word fi in your
reply, also should I mark this reply as an accept solution, I already
accepted your earlier reply as solution for the initial question i asked in
this forum, I'm truly happy that youve always responded to my questions and
I would still wish to ask you of any difficulty I find in robot even if
it's not related to the initial question, any time you wish me to mark a
reply as a solution I can always do so, I'm modelling another structure in
robot and I'm very sure I'll find difficulties in many areas, I'll be glad
if you can still help me overcome the challenges, thanks

By fi 10 I mean means steel rebar diameter (10 mm). I appreciate accepting my answers as solutions. Accepting solutions will help other forum users to find working solutions when they have similar problems. It would be easier for other users as well, when questions not related to current topic will be asked in separate thread. It would be great if you could take it into account in future.
