Make new fase existing fase

Hello everyone,

We have some big project that exists out of multiple linked Revitmodels (buildings). Right now we are busy with a project in that project that affects multiple buildings.
Some future existentions that still are in the other models where cancelled, right now we want to have different fases as existing in the new project. Is there a way to make or export one fase as existing and remove the other fases?
With the demolition in different fases of the building it's hard to merge theme without risking mistakes. We'd like to keep it as a Revit model with all the Revit features and family's.

Maybe I missed it but at what timestamp does it explain how you can make one fase the only fase?
For example, I have a model with:
Existing
Demolition 1
New 1
Demolition 2
New 2
Demolition 3
New 3.
Now fase 3 was never executed, I want a revit model with only fase "New 2" as existing for a new project.
I'm afraid this can't be done but if someone knows a way to save a phase as an revitmodel without the other fases.
Merging fases doesn't work because of the demolition fases.

If you want only content in "New 2", chances are it involves item from older phases as well. Is everything in "New 2" isolated content (like a separate building)?

2 way's I can think of...

OPT 1

Make a Group out of all the "New 2" content
In the project browser, select the group
Right click on the group and pick Save Group...
- this will save the group as a RVT file.

OPT 2

Copy and Rename the model
Open the renamed model "Detached From Central"
Delete anything you don't want
Save the file.

After the new file is made, whether made by Opt 1 or 2... select all the content and change the phase as needed.

Another option is to link the new model into a empty file and Bind the link. Binding the link will put all content on the current Phase and Workset that is active in the current model.
