I am trying to align multiple gridlines on revit to get the exact distance apart from each other. I am having trouble getting the intersections to match the dimensions to the angled gridlines. See attached photo for clarification.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help

You can draw a dummy detail line and align the gridlines using them

Can you please clarify how to do this? I tried using false gridlines but I am still not able to get it perfectly aligned. It seems to be more trial and error using this method unless I am misunderstanding.

Thank you for the help.

I guess it was meant something like this:

- Draw vertical and horizontal Lines (Blue lines in the picture) in order to get a reference point/Length to where you want it to be positione.

- Dimension the distance from your desired location to your working line (blue Line)

- click on the dimension and see the value

- move the grid to the desired location

I'll often use a circle with the center mark turned on so I can snap to the center of the circle. I'll place a circle at each "point" that I need to reference accurately, place a dimension to each axis of the center mark. Fine tune until the circle's center-point is exactly where it needs to be...then layout the grids etc from that. In this case, move the grid over and then use rotate to get the other end of the grid to line up with the second point...if the angle of the grid is wrong relative to the "points". I also use arc/circles to layout lines to find intersections.
