DWG structural drawings to Revit 2024

Hello,

If I had some structural drawings that are completely done in DWG 2D, is there any way to transfer them to Revit, adjust and make sheets with those drawings, without making 3D model? Just somehow import those in Revit, make suitable title block, adjust some texts on drawings, and make sheets?

I guess one could do that, but what is the purpose of having pure 2d drawings imported to Revit? Not sure what you are gaining IMO.

Believe it or not, since big majority of project participants are at the beginning of BIM implementation, sometimes we all struggle with deadlines. Because of that, sometimes we need to improvise some actions. So, is there any way, hack, something?

Import them into Drafting Views which is common practice for 2D Details from AutoCAD and then place on Sheets

Yes you can explode the CAD file once imported by selecting and review the New Tools on the Contextual Toolbar and it does it’s best to convert it to Revit based components but it’s a question of if it easier to edit in CAD and import or explode and edit you need to find a balance with!
