Non orthogonal section

Hello everyone, I’m trying to make a non orthogonal section of a slanted column. The section should be perpendicular to the axis of the column. I've been trying for several hours to do it by snapping to the faces of the column but the section tool seems to be orthogonal only. Is there a way to do this section as shown in the image below?

Please check that your section view type is of detail view (all directions) and not section view (orthogonal).

Hi @LauB1975,

Let follow this steps:

1. Cut section vertically follow the allow direction.

2. Use rotation commend and align with detail or reference line.

I would usually draw detail lines to where you want your section to be cut in situations like this, and then draw your section along this line using snaps - or alternatively you could cut the section and then align the section marker to the detail line you drew!
