Detail lines get delete when remove dimesion constrain to it

Please help . . . I have problem with Revit 2016 detail lines get delete when I delete the dimension (which constraining to it) only. Is there a setting I missed here?

this also happen when modifying a family, lines keep getting delete. so frustrating . . .

This should not happen. Detail Lines should not be deleted when dimensions are deleted. I also have never experienced this.

Can you show some screenshots or even better a screencast of what you are exaclty doing that makes this happening?

Thank you for helping, this happening since I have Revit 2016, all other versions are fine.

I understand your detail lines are getting deleted. As EnlInt indicated this is not normal behavior. Can to make a screencast or post a small project that demonstrates this?
