      <description>hello&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;as the title suggestes , i would like to add a drop panel on top of each column at each floor i have , and i cant find that in the structre panel .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks in advance</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can use this standard Revit family for drop panel if you are not considering the analytical part of the drop panel.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Zaid:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One may model the drop panels as floors. Each floor at the time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You may want to model all equal thickness drop panels at once with as many regions as you may need.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unless you are working on a symmetrical square box with equal bays (of course, that is seldom the case), the drop panels dimensions are a function of the adjacent slab spans and then you may have same column sizes but different drop panels sizes on plan, let alone the thickness, that may also vary.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yea it will add to anywhere this column family is used. If you have knowledge in creating families, you can have parameters to change its size and depth, or even make its visibility parametric.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
