Revit Structure 2017

Hi,

My main goal is to get Revit 2017.

I have come across forums that state Revit Structure will no longer be a continuation in 2017. They say all disciplines have now been combined into one application from this point forward.

I contacted Autodesk months ago about a Revit Structure 2017 update and the final answer was the Structure Version wasn't ready for release yet and that they would contact us once it is available. It has been inconvenient since other disciplines have Revit 2017 and we can't coordinate with them.

After some research there seems to be some great updates for structural work in 2017. But I can't find anything about where the update is for my account.

Whatever the situation is, it has been months since other disciplines have received their update. WHERE IS MY STRUCTURAL/STANDARD UPDATE?

Welcome to the community!

If I understand your problem correctly, you have a subscription with Autodesk (Paying Customer), but you haven't received the latest version of Revit yet?

If that is the case, then you can download REVIT 2017 from Autodesk Virtual Agent here. Go to Download Links >> Revit Products >> Autodesk Revit:

I would strongly recommend that you get the one which I indicated above opposed to the Revit Structure one. Simply because the one which I indicated has full functionality or has all of the disciplines in one package. Whether you use it now or not, but you might in the future for some reason. You'll have 30-days to use the software as you wish.

I would then get into contact with your software supplier and make sure that your subscription details are correct and up to date and then you can activate the above-mentioned software.

Thank you @rudi.roux but I know where to get trial versions.

I need someone from Autodesk to tell me why I don't already have a subscription/serial number for Revit 2017 under my account. If they have completely changed over to one version of Revit it is fine. I just need that to be reflected on my account so I can install completely.

Autodesk is my software supplier and I have already contacted them before. There is no reason why they should be taking this long to let me know a status on my Revit subscription for 2017.

Again thanks for the info but I need a little more concrete direction from Autodesk.

Not much that we can do with your Autodesk account here - we're just users.

Do you have a reseller? If not, get one - they're your first point of contact with Autodesk, and can do all the legwork of getting license problems sorted out.

I agree with @dgorsman and with what I mentioned regarding contacting your supplier/reseller as they are your first point of contact regarding subscription issues. They would be able to advise regarding issues with your subscription etc...

If you need to get into contact with a Reseller/Partner to assist you in your country, use this PARTNER LOCATOR and contact them directly.

Simply enter the City in which you reside and hit search.
