About the first issue, the distances not being equal, that doesn´t seem difficult to fix. You would need to make the total distance a multiple of the spacing, and relate that to an integer parameter that control the number of divisions.

About the second issue, the diagonal members going to the wrong place, it is difficult to say what´s going on without seeing the file. Can you post the family?

Hii,

I need a small help. I have a large sloped roof area built by Space Frame as shown in the pic. The space frame is 3x3m center to center. unfortunately the center point of diagonal members is not coming exactly at 1.5m. How can I achieve the center point at exact center of the space frame bay.

There is a small difference in the center point. I don't know the exact reason. So I change my Space frame curtain panel based family to adaptive component family as 3 Parts - (Top Chord, Diagonal Chord and Bottom Chord). Kindly see the pic. Now I could achieve what i need for the first portion of the roof that belongs to the first expansion joint. when I model the adaptive component at the second portion of the roof it is not repeating as I need. Any suggestion ?

Thank you for the tip Mr. Alfredo. The second issue was due to my bad modeling idea The reference planes that i draw for dividing the surface was not intersecting each other . Once I corrected it is working fine.

I have similar problem, I created a space frame unit file for a form I created, but when I change the divided surface pattern to the space frame, I get this unable to create curtain based panel error from revit, I created a small less complex form and it worked, can't still figure out what's wrong
