Importing tags.

I do my detailing in Advance Steel since I need the DSTV output for the shops machines. Lately I have noticed that plan and elevation details look so much more professional when done in Revit. So I import my dwg into Revit.

My question, Is there anyway to import the advance steel assembly numbers into revit along with the import so I wont need to manually input all the steel mark numbers by hand?

I have reviewed your question, and I found an article with a very complete list of what transfers between Advance Steel and Revit, and viceversa.

Said article does not list annotations, or the assembly numbers, to be more specific in the answer. These need to be entered manually.

The list of what does transfer is available >HERE<. You can review it as needed.
