hatch option for revit

Hi all...

How can we provide hatch in revit ..we used filled option but it appears to be black in colour...couldn't find any option to change colour....

hope to get good reply...

For the fill patterns under the Manage tab, Settings panel, Additional Setting, Fill Patterns, they will always look black.

There are two ways you can change the color of the fill pattern depending on if they are a region or a material.

By going to the Annotate tab, Detail panel, Region...on the Properties dialog, Edit Type, Duplicate, name the new pattern accordingly, and change the information shown below as needed.
For a Material (either create a new one, or modify and existing one) go to the Manage tab, Settings panel, Materials and on the graphics tab change the color of the patterns as needed.

there are many ways to provide hatch in revit:

-using material

-using VV/VG options

-using filters

-finally you can create your own hatch (from manage /additional setting/patterns)
